The Greater Severna Park Chamber of
Commerce Independence Day Parade will be
held on July 4, 2008.  The theme of this year's
parade is
OLD GLORY -
A CELEBRATION OF FREEDOM
and the Chamber is honoring our local World
War II veterans as our Grand Marshals.  
These honorable veterans will lead off the
parade and we will share their profiles and
stories in our local newspapers

The Greater Severna Park Chamber of
Commerce Independence Day parade features
many of our notable vintage vehicles, in
addition to jazzy corvettes and other vintage
vehicles.
Many colorful and interesting floats grace the
Chamber's Independence Day Parade, brining
entertainment and a sense of patriotism and
community to our parade attendees
Our July 4th Festival that follows the
Independence Day parade, features a farmers
market, historical displays, and entertainment
for all ages.  The Festival will be held at
Cypress Creek Park this year.
