HOME-BASED AND SMALL BUSINESS SHOWCASE AGREEMENT
The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce is holding a HOME-BASED AND SMALL BUSINESS SHOWCASE
(trade fair) at Marley Station Mall from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2008. In addition to an all-day
exhibition, there will be ongoing seminars for attendees on topics pertinent to home-based and small business
issues. Only Chamber members may exhibit. This event is free and open to the public, and will be widely
publicized. With the exposure at Marley Station Mall, we expect a strong attendance. As an exhibitor, you:
* Will receive a 6’ exhibit table (skirted to the floor) and one chair in your exhibit area. There is a limit of one table
per exhibitor. Electricity will be available at a limited number of booths – first come, first served on requests.
* Will be responsible for set up and take down of your exhibit area. Set up time will begin at 8:00 a.m.on May 10th
(access to the store will be at 8:00 a.m.) and the exhibit area must be cleared out by no later than 5:00 p.m., May
10th. We ask that your booth/exhibit be left intact until the breakdown time in order to maintain the professionalism
of the event for the benefit of all vendors and Marley Station Mall.
* Will be responsible for staffing your exhibit area and answering questions.
*In addition you agree that the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce, or its volunteers or the Marley Station
Mall staff will not be held liable (for whatever reason) in the event of damage to or loss of your exhibits. You are
responsible for carrying insurance to cover any such loss.
*Have included a payment of $150.00 as your exhibitor’s fee for the 2008 May 10th Home-Based and Small
Business Showcase. There is a limit of one table per exhibitor. The fee is non-refundable after May 1, 2008. Two
Chamber member businesses – the exact same business. i.e., Mary Kay Cosmetics, may share a table for $160.00.
NEW THIS YEAR! IT IS POSSIBLE TO SELL DIRECTLY FROM YOUR TABLE ( as opposed to strictly exhibiting) –
BUT THE VENDOR FEE AS SPECIFICED BY MARLEY STATION MALL, IS $300.00. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SELL
ITEMS, PLEASE SUBMIT A FEE OF $300.00.
